GRAND PRIX HISTORY

The Grand Prix started 1991, all our members have been invited to send their publications, there was no fee to pay, it was meant to be presented at the Congress in Paris, but due to the organising difficulties it was postponed and the judgement was made in London 1992. There was only one category – the best publication, and only one prize, which went to Barclay, UK.

The second GP was running at the Congress in Crans Montana 1994, again only one category, the best publication, no fee, and it amazing, how many did participate, in total more than 1.000 publication, 450 came from UK!!!

The Winner was Interbrew, Belgium

Then Brian McCabe took the responsibility, the rules were changed completely, three categories were installed, best Newspaper or Newsletter, best magazine and best Multi-language Publication. From that year on the GP was running every year and became a cash cow for FEIEA´s income.
