Maurizio Incletolli, President of ASCAI – the association for the development of business communications in Italy (pictured above) – believes that FEIEA’s Grand Prix awards showcase the ‘best communication experiences’.
As this year’s deadline for the FEIEA Grand Prix awards gets closer, Maurizio says: “ASCAI has always supported the FEIEA Grand Prix for two simple but fundamental reasons: #1 – at ASCAI we firmly believe that exchanging experiences is key to continuous professional improvement and this is one of the key benefits that participating in the FEIEA Grand Prix brings. Indeed by competing on a European basis, the awards become a showcase of the best communication experiences, which communicators can use in their day-to-day professional activity.
“#2 – this is probably the only pan-European award organized by internal communications professionals FOR internal communication professionals. Such a distinctive feature helps in making sure that the judgement for any project is actually the best a participant can possibly get by the appropriate expert in any given internal communication field.”
Meanwhile, a previous Grand Prix award winner, Ida Sirolli who is Head of Internal Communication at Italian telecommunications firm TIM, explains what winning a FEIEA award has meant for her and the business. “We are very satisfied with the FEIEA Grand Prix award-winning projects “TIM è”, such as Best Photograph, and “Il Segno di…”, in the Best infographic / graphic image category. These projects were entirely dedicated to the people of TIM, not only as subjects of the narrative, but also as producers of the final product.
“This made these communication initiatives even more interesting for colleagues who responded very positively, appreciating the final result and feeling personally involved in the issues addressed. As Internal Communication this has allowed us to contribute significantly to the development of our internal brand identity.”
And one of the expert judges at the pan-European judging stage, Stefano Murdaca, a Corporate Communication Specialist from Italy’s Sella Group, shares what makes a winning awards entry: “In a winning case, we consider creativity, innovation, quality and, most of all, results. In fact, the lack of a result-oriented strategy is often one of the most common causes of failure of a good communication initiative. Candidates should remember that numbers are what turns opinions into concrete results.”
