Anja Potočnik from Slovenia
Anja Potočnik is a public relations specialist with SIJ – Slovenian Steel Group. She is a chief editor of the SIJ group’s internal magazine, she handles media relations, corporate events, web presence etc. In addition, Anja is an active member of PRSS (Public Relations Association of Slovenia) especially in its Section for Internal Communications. From 2008 till 2015 she was heading the organizational committee of “Papirus” – competition for the best Slovenian internal magazine. From April 2015 till April 2017 she was President of the Section for Internal Communication at PRSS. Previously, Anja Potočnik worked as public relations specialist with The Institute of Public Health of Ljubljana and with the financial newspaper “Finance” as journalist and in the marketing department. Anja Potočnik obtained her B.A. in Communication Science from The Faculty of the Social Sciences in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Erwin Van Overloop from Belgium
Is currently the Head of content strategy, editing and webservices in the IC department of Belgian bank BNP Paribas Fortis. Current challenges are transforming the existing internal communication channels into one digital native solution, installing a strong central IC team to coordinate and align key messages across the organisation and the setting up and implementation of a communication strategy to support the change towards a digital working culture (collaborative tools) and new management mind set (delayering, empowerment). Erwin has over 15 years of experience in internal communications in the banking sector, with a particular expertise in internal journalism, in which capacity he won a number of Belgian and international prizes, and crisis communication. He has degrees in Communication and Business Studies.
Gundekar Giebel from Switzerland
Gundekar Giebel is a professional Public-Relations-Consultant and communicator in Switzerland. Since 2004 he is Vice President at SVIK/ASCI (Swiss Association for internal and integrated communication, founded in 1944). He is head of communication at the Canton of Berne, health and welfare. Before he joined the government he was responsible for integrated communications and for interactive electronic media at Swiss Post. Giebel studied English Philology and Literature as well as Journalism at the University of Fribourg and holds a diploma in Public Relations. Since 2015 he also runs a communication company.
José Luís Cavalheiro from Portugal
José Luís Cavalheiro is a Senior Partner and Managing Director at News Ability Comunicação, Lda, developing his activity as Strategic Communication and Marketing Advisor, professional trainer in Corporate Communication and Media Training and former invited teacher of Public Relations and Corporate Communication at the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon. Over 40 years of experience as a public relations and marketing consultant, has developed his activity in different sectors of the market such as, transports (railways and airlines); energy; automotive; jewelry; media; tourism and health. Was also a Press Advisor of the Social Equipment Minister and of the Minister of The Sea during the IX Constitutional Government of Portugal. Member of APCE – Portuguese Corporate Communication Association and judge of “FEIEA GRAND PRIX” – Federation of European Internal Communication Association.
Massimo Greggia from Italy
Massimo Greggia has long-standing experience over many years in communications and management. Currently serving as Partner in an independent consulting service firm, Massimo has lived and worked in the UK, US and Italy covering many roles in the communications field, spanning marketing to corporate communications for a variety of business, including agricultural & industrial equipment and both the railway and car industries. Massimo serves as board member for ASCAI (Italian association for the development of corporate communications) and is FEIEA vice-president.
Paloma Miña from Spain
She spent his entire professional career working on something she is passionate about: Journalism, Communication and Marketing. First, as a writer for several media outlets in the economics, courts and interior sections. She is currently Dircom of ADAMS, a company specialized in training for employment.
Judge of the European FEIEA Internal Communication Awards, the Fundacom Communication Awards in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, and the Dircom Ramón del Corral Awards.

Steve Doswell from the United Kingdom
Steve Doswell recently went ‘back to the future’, returning after more than 20 years to work in an in-house role as senior internal communications (IC) manager at UK energy business First Utility. It was the latest twist in a varied 30-year career in corporate communications. Appointed Nationwide Building Society’s first-ever IC Manager in 1990, Steve later spent two decades in client consultancy with the likes of Rolls-Royce plc, National Grid and Brussels-based euRobotics. He has also played many roles for IoIC, notably as professional development director, and as IoIC chief executive for five years until 2015. Steve was also FEIEA’s communication director and vice-president and served as president for three years until 2013. Outside of work, Steve is a keen linguist and runner. He is currently pursuing a fundraising challenge for two UK charities, by running in every country of the EU before 29 March 2019.
